I spent a week cycling through 7 different pro crosshairs to answer one question: whose settings should you actually copy?
The answer, after testing donk’s extreme -4.5 gap, NiKo’s balanced static, s1mple’s precision setup, ZywOo’s wider gap, m0NESY’s thicker lines, ropz’s compact config, and Twistzz’s all-rounder: it depends on your role and playstyle, not on who your favorite player is.
This comparison breaks down each pro’s settings and tells you exactly which playstyle each one suits. I’ve tested every single one in deathmatch so you don’t have to.

What This Means For Your Setup — My Recommendations
After testing all 7, here’s who I’d recommend each crosshair to:
- New to CS2? Start with NiKo’s setup. It’s balanced, nothing extreme, and you won’t fight your crosshair while learning the game.
- Rifler / entry fragger? Try donk’s or Twistzz’s. The negative gap rewards strong crosshair placement.
- AWPer? ZywOo’s wider gap gives you better spray visibility. m0NESY’s thicker outline helps if you lose the crosshair in scope.
- Low sensitivity player? ropz’s compact setup reduces visual clutter — important when your crosshair moves slower across the screen.
- Want something unique? Try ropz’s purple crosshair. It stands out from the sea of green and cyan.
Personally, I ended up settling on something between NiKo and donk — gap -2.0 instead of NiKo’s -1.0 or donk’s -4.5. It’s close enough to donk’s philosophy (minimal, trust your aim) without being so extreme that I lose it in close-range fights.
Need help finding your sensitivity first? Here’s my 2-step method.
